Captured data from stormed State Security offices implicate Hosni Mubarak's family & government in terrorist bombings of resort hotels & Christian churches.

The Arab online data distribution organization, Amn Dawla Leaks, was rapidly formed in the mold of Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks website. Named after the state security office where uncovered documents revealed that senior Egyptian government officials were intimately involved in terrorist activities, the organization has captured the attention of the West. Following a two-pronged agenda, security officers, led by Gamal Mubarak, ordered the bombings of hotels, resorts and Coptic Christian churches in strategic locations throughout Egypt. The documents exposed the senior Mubarak’s motivation was an effort to influence Egypt’s American ally while the junior Mubarak’s impetus was pure greed.

On Saturday March 5, 2011 Egyptian protesters stormed the state security building in Nasr City in the aftermath of President Hosni Mubarak’s resignation. In an effort to preserve evidence for possible future investigations, the activists took pictures, confiscated memos and prevented the destruction of vital documents. Quickly, the papers found their way to the Internet via the newly designed website, Amn Dawla, for the world to examine. WikiLeaks Central reported on March 6, 2011 that “State Security has been shredding, burning and destroying documents that presumably would incriminate them, as many…are going to be facing investigations or trials.”

Gamal Mubarak and the Israelis

Leaked document #1441 indicated that Gamal Mubarak was upset about reductions in the terms of a contract for the supply of gas to Israel. “Mubarak believes he must seek revenge because [Hussein] Salem triggered a reduction in his commission for the deal from 10% to 5%,” the document argues. “All sites of detonation are intended to damage property owned by Hussein Salem,” it concluded. The online journal El Badil stated that the documents indicated the Minister of Interior report became the “official story in Egypt. Islamic elements targeted…” the shops and “Bedouins” were to blame; the report proclaimed.

President Hosni Mubarak and the Americans

More surprisingly, the documents revealed the length to which the Mubarak regime would go to maintain control and influence throughout the world. The president, in an attempt to show his allegiance to the USA, emphasized his position in the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). Using the escapades of his son above, the Egyptian President began a campaign of misinformation designed to remind the Americans of the need for a strong administration in Egypt.

The movement was successful, at least in the minds of many Westerners. Senior foreign correspondent for The Guardian, Jonathan Steele, was quoted in Democracy Now on July 26, 2005 as saying, “…most people now assume that the …bombings…have more to do with Egyptian militants.” FBI Director Robert Mueller described the “vigilance and effectiveness of the Egyptian security services,” in leaked WikiLeaks cables. “Egypt is an ally in the GWOT, and we maintain close cooperation on…counter-terrorism…issues….The Egyptian government's active opposition to Islamist terrorism and effective intelligence and security services makes Egypt an unattractive safe haven for terror groups….”

The Christian Church Plot

However, the leaked documents reveal an extremely sinister plot (if confirmed), by Egyptian state security officials. In a top secret operation, entitled Mission Number 77, supposedly interior officers were behind the terrorist act that blew up a Coptic Christian Church. On March 6, 2011, journalists Hannah Allam and Mohannad Sabry of the Vancouver Sun argued that “Perhaps the most controversial document [laid]…out State Security's involvement in a church bombing on New Year's Day in Alexandria.” Several supporting records indicated the mission was to use "a jailed Islamist to organize the plot [and]...create [tension] that could be exploited."

Ultimately, the new online Arab WikiLeaks has provided controversial information of Egyptian State Security involvement in terrorists’ activities. The stacks of documents indicate that not only state officials were involved but also top Mubarak administration individuals including Gamal Mubarak. These exposés revolve around terrorist bombings of Sharm el Sheikh Properties and Alexandria Christian Churches. Apparently, the regime used the greed of the son to foster the longevity of the father is an unabashed manipulative scheme designed to punish adversaries and influence allies.
